Postponed: 67th International Rostrum of Composers

24.09.2020

Dear delegates,

It is with much regret that we announce that the 67th International Rostrum of Composers (IRC) will be postponed to May 2021. After months of exchanges with our colleagues from RTS Radio Television of Serbia – Radio Belgrade 3, hoping for an improvement of the situation, we believe that it is not possible to hold the Rostrum under these circumstances and we are confident that you will understand our decision.

At the same time, we are grateful to our host for having renewed its invitation for next year when we will be able to provide all of you with the best Rostrum experience.

We at IMC count (once again) on your participation, therefore please bear with us as dates will be announced in the coming months.

This year has marked a unprecented catastrophe for the music ecosystem and we are convinced that, to fullfill IMC’s mission embedded in the Five Music Rights, actions like the Rostrum are more needed than ever to promote emerging composers and strenghten the role of broadcasting organisations in the cultural landscape.

In light of this, we are preparing something unique for this year and we will announce it very soon. Stay Tuned!

The IMC Team
