The International Rostrum of Composers (IRC) is the biggest platform for the promotion of contemporary music through radio broadcast. Since its foundation in 1955, some 400 composers have been promoted and their works broadcast thousands of times within the network of participating radios. In fact, when a radio decides to represent its country at the IRC, is engaged to broadcast at least once all the selected and recommended works of the year.

Only in 2015 – 2016, the works selected and recommended at the IRC 2015 have been broadcast some 700 times. Moreover, since 2015, the presented works are offered on this website on free streaming for two weeks and only in 2016, we had some 2000 unique streamings.
