Andrzej Kwiecinski, young Polish composer born in Warsaw in 1984, was selected in the young category at the International Rostrum of Composers in 2014. He received the Guy Hout bursary for young composer which consist in a co-commission IMC/Radio France for an Alla Breve.
This radio format, very well known in France and beyond, consist of five broadcasts (Monday to Friday) in which is presented one movement of the work. This musical puzzle heard by fragments during the week is then reconstituted on the following Sunday giving to the listeners a step-by-step approach on today’s music.
Andrzej Kwiecinski recorded his new work super [P|PE(s)] DEMO at the Radio France headquartes in Paris on 30 May 2017. The piece was played by the Ensemble 2e2m directed by Pierre Roullier and with the special presence of Ashot Sarkissjan from Arditti Quartet who was invited for the occasion.
