Listen, Vote, Win is an action to maximize the impact of the IMC Hidden Treasures Mixtape. Works presented will be offered on free streaming on this website and listeners will be invited to vote for their favourite work and get the opportunity to win a physical copy of the Rostrum+ Compilation.

In order to participate, your broadcasting organisation must accept the following agreement.

The undersigned parties hereby agree to the following provisions as conditions of the Partnership:

Whereas;

  • International Music Council (IMC), in collaboration with your radio and EBU, organizes the IMC Hidden Treasures Mixtape;
  • IMC wishes to set up a page on this website, from which participants and interested parties from across the world can stream the musical compositions embodied in sound recordings (Works) that are participating to the IMC Hidden treasures Mixtape for a temporary period of time (the Usage);
  • IMC has engaged in dialogues with the relevant collective management societies representing authors/composers and producers of sound recordings;
  • IMC wishes to ensure the complete rights clearance for the sound recordings of the Works that have been produced by your radio but has not yet been commercially published and/or your radio fully owns the rights therein (Radio’s Work);

IMC would, herewith, like to require your Broadcasting Organisation:

  • To permit making the Radio’s Works indicated in the Registration Form for the IMC Hidden Treasures Mixtape, available through streaming on the dedicated website www.rostrumplus.net from 18 to 24 January 2021 (the period of the Usage);
  • To provide IMC with the actual sound recording of the Radio’s Works in the required format for the Usage;
  • To provide IMC with all relevant rights information and metadata as regards the Radio’s Works, including for the underlying musical compositions;
  • To assure IMC that all rights in Radio’s Works for Usage have been cleared and to indemnify IMC for any third party claims for the Usage;
  • To inform IMC on any further relevant information in this respect, as the case may be, and collaborate with IMC for proper performance of the Usage

IMC undertakes that:

  • Radio’s Works will only be used within the Usage and the period of the Usage, as described above;
  • The Usage will not allow any permanent or tethered downloading of the Radio’s Works from the website to any device or for playback at a later stage and remain limited to “streaming” of the sound recordings, as commonly understood in practice;
  • The relevant rights in musical compositions of the Radio’s Works will be cleared by IMC through authors’ societies together with the other Works participating the Rostrum;
  • No fees or any type of payment will be charged for the Usage and the Usage will be not-for-profit and promotional for the Rostrum and Radio’s Works, as well as other Works, only;
  • No advertisement of third parties will be displayed on the website, however stresses that the names of the participating radios and links to their own website provided on the website should not be considered as an advertisement.
