64th International Rostrum of Composers: Travel Grants Available!

In the framework of the EU co-financed project Rostrum+, the International Music Council is pleased to offer four (4) travel grants to broadcasting organisations wishing to participate in the next edition of the International Rostrum of Composers (Palermo, May 16-20, 2017).

Travel grants will be provided primarily for representatives of countries that may have difficulty attending for financial and budgetary reasons. The objective is to facilitate the participation of new and returning countries and thus to broaden the scope of the Rostrum.

The travel grant is intended to partially fund the participation of one delegate per applying radio. It includes:

– Reimbursement of flight costs for a maximum amount of 300 Euro
– Hotel accommodation (6 nights, 15-20 May 2017)
– Daily allowance (15-20 May 2017) for meals

Please note that IRC registration fees as well as any other costs not mentioned above, will remain at the charge of the broadcasting organisation and/or the delegate.

Who can apply?
This call is intended primarily for national Public Broadcasting Organisations, however, we will also accept applications from other bodies such as web radios, university radios and private broadcasting organisations as far as they can prove their function as broadcasters of contemporary music in their country and on condition that the national broadcaster has not already registered for the IRC.

Moreover, the applicant must be in a position to comply with the IRC Rules of Procedure.

Participation at the IRC is limited at one delegate per country.
