Radio Romania Muzical – the only Romanian classical music radio, part of the public company Radio Romania. Dedicated only to classical music and jazz, 24 hours a day, Radio Romania Muzical is a symbol of Excellence in the media landscape from Romania, highly appreciated for its very diverse broadcasts, dedicated to various publics, but with a unique credo: Classical music for all!
Radio Romania Muzical has been for years the European radio that broadcasts the largest number of live concerts from EBU; its manager is part of the EBU Music Group and selector for EBU Euroradio seasons. Also, Radio Romania Muzical, represented by its manager, it is part of International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) jury.
Radio Romania Muzical is recording around 150 concerts per year and it the official broadcaster for prestigious George Enescu festival.
Also, it is an important player in the national landscape, due to its projects: Listen to 5 minutes of classical music, the most important classical music project dedicated to schools in Romania and The Heirs of musical Romania, the project dedicated to young musicians.
Important international names have their own broadcasts at Radio Romania Muzical, like the conductor Cristian Macelaru with his “The blue room” podcast.
